Designing ESEA Lit Fest’s 2025 Creative Direction
Every now and then, we work on a project that truly reminds us why we do what we do – and designing the creative direction for ESEA Lit Fest’s 2025 content was absolutely one of those moments.
Celebrating culture, championing representation, and platforming storytellers are core to our mission, so partnering with the ESEA Publishing Network feels like such an aligned and meaningful collaboration.
We had the immense privilege of unveiling this new creative vision in person at ESEA Lit Fest’s annual summer party at the Hachette building in London – and it was every bit as inspiring as it sounds! We spent the evening surrounded by a brilliant lineup of writers, performers, and creatives.
As a team, we feel deeply grateful to play a small part in amplifying their voices and sharing their stories.
“We’re delighted to have partnered with Good Form on the assets for this year’s ESEA Lit Fest. They have created visuals with energy and style, understanding our vision from the very beginning. These are thoughtful, creative designs that capture our ethos here at ESEA Lit Fest of creating bold, innovative events that champion authors of ESEA heritage. It’s been a pleasure to work with them, and we’re looking forward to more opportunities in the future.”
Celebrating East and South East Asian literary voices
The summer fundraiser included readings from talents like A.Y. Chao with Shanghai Immortal and Tuyen Do with Summer Rolls, along with an extraordinary food demo by Kenji Morimoto, who showcased his cornershop kimchi from his debut cookbook FERMENT.
There was even a lively mahjong session courtesy of Four Winds Mahjong, and DJ Hiroshi kept the energy buzzing late into the night with an incredible set of ESEA music. Major celebration of community, creativity, and culture.
At Good Form, we live for moments like these. Being trusted to lead the visual and creative storytelling for organisations like ESEA Lit Fest, who are actively shaping the cultural future, is exactly why we founded this agency in the first place. It’s about purpose-driven work, bold ideas, and celebrating stories that matter.
If you’re as obsessed with storytelling and representation as we are, you won’t want to miss the ESEA Lit Fest’s next event at South Bank Centre on Saturday 19th July, 2025. Here’s to creating, celebrating, and paving the way for more stories to be told. 🌟
Join ESEA Lit Fest for their next round of events on Saturday 19th July as part of the new ESEA Encounters. Thank you to Maria Garbutt-Lucero and Joanna Lee, the brilliant founders of the ESEA Publishing Network (CIC) and ESEA Lit Fest.
